This bar and chain oil is environment friendly because it's vegetable based. Great stuff. It has enough viscosity and lubricity to work well.
I used it on my Milwaukee M18 cordless pole chainsaw attachment to trim some large trees in my yard and it worked very well with my saw. I would not use petroleum-based bar and chain oil in my yards because doing so would be like pouring toxic and carcinogenic engine oil onto my backyard.
Love the biodegradable composition and it is working well in two chainsaws. Worth the price. All chainsaws “leak” some oil in the off mode and of course lube the saw guide and chain while running. I really like that i am not polluting the environment like i would be if i were using standard bar and chain oil.
Pros:
- Works at least as well as non-biodegradeable polluting fossil fuel oil
- Bottle has convenient icon to remind you to pour with the spout up to eliminate air bubble gurgling and splashing
- Bottle also has a convenient sight window to show how much oil is left, along with volume graduations
- Made in USA, not comm't China- Inexpensive, and worth every penny

I like that this product is safe for the planet. It works great for lubricating the chain of my saw, and limits the ware of the bar, and the chain.
Works. Nice to keep the petrochemicals out of the woods.
A few extra bucks means nothing for a safer product for my property. Performance is A+.
Seemed to be more sticky and clings to the bar better than conventional motor oil.
This bar and chain oil works well, and is biodegradable. It does cost more than double your standard bar and chain oil. I use it in my DeWalt pole saw, because they recommend a vegetable oil based lube. It definitely keeps the chain well oiled, and gets the job done.
it's got some stick so it doesn't sling off excessively or pour out the bottom of the saw.
